Michigan Magic Day 2005
A rumor circulated around the Friday night party that they needed more people for the close-up contest, so I decided to enter. Dashing back to the hotel for some equipment, I was privileged to perform in front of four internationally-known stars of magic.
Me with the four judges:
Billy McComb, Dirk Losander,
John Thompson, and Whit Haydn.
At the end of the day, I walked away as the #1 close up magician!
My prize was an hour’s private session with the very skilled (and very funny) Johnny Thompson!
The next day, I was privileged as the winner of the contest to open the close-up show!

International FCM Convention 2011
After performing twice during Late Night Magic at the convention, I was invited to be a featured act on the Friday night program on the main stage for the public! What a thrill!
